I've officially started the Christmas knitting in earnest. I found a scarf/cowl pattern that is perfect for daughter 1, so I cast on for it a couple days ago.
I picked this gorgeous yarn that's been in the stash for a couple years. It's a merino wool and silk blend. So soft. It's mostly browns with a bit of dark pink and purple.
It requires beads. I've picked a silver-lined pale pink ab size 8. It's leftovers from the wedding flowers I beaded for my daughter a few years ago.
